About Gunpowder Keg Ultra

The Baltimore Road Runners Club’s is again hosting the Gunpowder Keg Ultra 25K and 50K in the Bunker Hill area of Gunpowder State Park. This beautiful trail race in Northern Baltimore County consists of a 15.5 mile loop of single track with a smattering of fire road and asphalt. 25K runners will complete this loop once. 50K runners will complete the loop twice. Changing your mind mid-race is ok with us! Everyone starts together and you'll get credit for and count in the results for the race distance you completed. We have 2 mid-loop aid stations and one at the 25K/finish that will be staffed by friendly volunteers and stocked with typical ultra fare. If it’s a hot day we’ll add 2 unmanned water only stops along the way. We ask that everyone bring a gallon of water. Snacks to share are welcome as well.
