A tour of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve, this challenging 50k course will take you up iconic Piestewa Peak and Shaw Butte and along Sonoran Desert single track in the heart of Phoenix, AZ. Be prepared for 6,000' of elevation gain and some serious PHOMO for all who miss out. There will be water fountain and restrooms at these major trailheads: 40th St Trailhead, Dreamy Draw Trailhead, North Mountain Visitor Center and Piestewa Peak Dr. You are allowed crew access at the trailhead listed above and PACERS are allowed starting from the first time through Dreamy Draw.
